Web Design and UX

Our job is to design something that feels right for your brand and straightforward for the people using it. As a website design agency, we believe good design should feel obvious, not clever for the sake of it.

We have decades of design experience and scooped a fair few awards along the way, but mostly we've learned what makes a website tick.

Our job is to design something that feels right for your brand and straightforward for the people using it. As a website design agency, we believe good design should feel obvious, not clever for the sake of it.

What we do

We design for websites, web apps, e-commerce and everything in between. Our aim is simple: clear layouts, sensible decisions and creating a visual identity that fits, without unnecessary extras.

Our work covers everything from structure and flow to the look and feel so your site is properly designed from the ground up. We handle both UX and UI design, creating responsive, mobile-first layouts that work cleanly across devices.

Once the foundations are in place, we shape the detail into a design that feels coherent, practical and true to the brand. That work usually includes:

  • Planning user journeys
  • Wireframes and prototypes
  • Colour, typography and spacing
  • Interface design for websites and apps
  • Design systems and reusable UI components
  • Accessibility and usability considerations
  • Layouts for content-heavy sites
  • Visual design and art direction

We also follow accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2) and approach visual design with consistency and restraint, keeping things usable without feeling heavy. It’s all about making the experience clearer, not more complicated!

Design deliverables

These are the core elements of our web design services:

User flows & journeys

Mapping how your visitors navigate from landing to conversion.

Wireframes

Low-fidelity layouts to validate structure before visual design.

Full visual design

Pixel-perfect page designs across desktop, tablet and mobile.

Component libraries

Reusable UI building blocks for consistency across your site.

Design systems

Tokens, scales and rules that keep everything cohesive as you grow.

Interactive prototypes

Clickable walkthroughs to test and validate before development.

How we work

We start by understanding your organisation and the people who will use the site. From there, we map out the structure, create prototypes, test ideas and refine the design until the experience makes sense end to end.

Taking the time to get this right makes the rest of the project easier. It reduces development time, avoids extra work and keeps everything moving smoothly. And because our design, development and SEO teams work side by side, nothing gets lost between stages.

FAQ

How long does a design project take?

Usually between four and eight weeks, depending on complexity. Of course, we scope it properly before we start.

Do you only design, or handle development too?

We handle both, and more. Design, development and SEO work together from the beginning so the build matches the intent.

Do you use specific tools?

We design in Figma and use prototypes, design systems and project management tools throughout the process.
